The idea here is not to be spending very much money out of your pocket. This $48 a month is easy money for your business. Yes it is not a lot, but it is enough to support other business efforts.
This is a really simple 15 minute method to get you started into many ventures to make money. Very little effort gets you around $48 a month. Think if you did more. Think if you used this $48 to advertise for this survey site to get affiliates of your own. Think what would happen if you let them in on this secret. The secret of making $48 for 15 minutes of work and using that money to fund their other ventures.
Get your mind into the possibilities here. I have said over and over that making money online is work, but it can be easy work once you figure things out. This is what this website is all about. Giving you ideas and pointing you in the right direction, away from all the bogus stuff.
I want you to start thinking positive, instead of negative. $48 doesn’t seem like what you are looking for, but it really is. This is small work for great returns. This is money used to fund other interest or further you business and money making capabilities.
Think of this. Let’s just use the daily survey money from this survey site and nothing else. You use the $48 a month to advertise this survey site using your affiliate link. When affiliates sign up under you, you send them an email from your control panel site about this idea, the $48 a month idea. Remember you get paid on 2 tiers, meaning you get paid on your referrals, and your referral’s, referrals. So you use this money to only fund this venture. You advertise on PPC, Craigslist, other classifieds, article marketing and so on. Believe it or not $48 will go a long ways into advertising if you use it right. Let’s say you get 20 affiliates a month and 15 take your advice and do the daily surveys for around $48 a month. That is $720 a month, $144 your cut from your affiliates making $48 from 2 daily surveys. At this rate, in 6 months you would have 90 active affiliates doing the 2 daily surveys making them $48 dollars a month. This is $4320 a month, $864 your cut. This is just counting your affiliates, and not the affiliates they refer. Let’s get even more realistic. Let’s say that out of your 20 affiliates, 15 do the $48 a month and 5 out of these are able to recruit 10 affiliates of their own a month. So 5 of your referrals are able to recruit 10 a piece = 50 second level affiliate referrals for you. Out of that 50, only 35 second level referrals do the $48 a month. This is getting confusing but stay with me. In the first month that puts you making $48 from the daily surveys + $144 from your 15 affiliates + $168 from your second level affiliates = $360. No let’s expand this 6 months on this same path. In 6 months you will be making around $48 from the daily surveys + $864 from your 90 affiliates + $1008 from your 210 second level affiliate referrals = $1920 a month.
This is an example to get your mind running. Now this is not a retirement, but it is a heck of a start considering this is one program, and all of this would be done by money you earned from doing 2 daily surveys. So let’s do the math here. 2 daily surveys = around 15 minutes a day, 20 minutes a day advertising, and 20 minutes a day sending out emails to your referrals in your control panel telling them about this very subject. Not bad money for that little of effort. This is a pretty mild math example, your numbers could be a lot higher. Also think what would happen if along with the $48, you also started putting some more income from what you were making into more advertising, let’s say around $100 + the $48. Your numbers could triple and then the money example above would triple, putting you around $5760 a month. Now I am getting your attention, but you have to set your mind to see the possibilities, instead of looking for that one knock out punch.
Remember the #1 key along with the daily surveys and the advertising is communicating with your referrals. You can borrow this very article, make one similar or just send them to this blog post. This is the key, because you must open their eyes like your eyes have been opened. Think of it this way. How appealing was $48 a month before you read this article. If you are not from the U.S you still have the ability to make big money with this program. I don’t think you can do the 2 daily surveys, but you can still do the referral part. Your problem will be how to fund this, but there are plenty of free advertising places on the web. You are at a disadvantage because you don’t have the $48 to work with, but if you can get some free advertising and get some referrals, which shoulld put you on the example path above.

Traffic is the life blood of any online business. I have given you a free eBook and backlink information that will help your SEO (Search Engine Optimization), but as I said in the article HERE, SEO takes time. So how can you get visitors to your Website, Squidoo Page, products, services, blog and so on. There is an answer, but it is a venture that requires money and very careful planning.
PPC is the search engine’s solution to this problem you have and they make billions providing this solution. You can sign up for an account and advertise on the search engines for traffic. Some already know this, some didn’t, but you see it everyday. Go to Google and do a search on work at home. Most of the time on the very top and to the right side are ads that appear. These are advertisements from people that have paid to be there. I am teaching you this knowing that most of you reading this have very little or no money to spend on this method. This is a big money making opportunity if done right and solves the big problem of traffic. I have put some coupons below for you to get started, but would rather you make money with the programs on the first page and then start reinvesting that money into an online business where you can incorporate this to make even more money. And another reason is I want to educate you before someone else has the opportunity to give you wrong info. Back to the subject. The reason it is called (pay-per-click) is because when someone clicks on one of these ads, the search engine charges the person advertising money. This can range from $.05 a click to $10.00 a click and higher.
It is really crazy how much people pay to be at the top of certain keyword results, and if you are reading this, there is no way you can afford $10 a click, or even $0.75 a click. That is why you must do two things if this is going to work. Now realize this is money and business. If you make a mistake, you will owe the search engine, so study this area hard if you plan on using PPC.
The first thing are keywords. This is a Google free keyword tool HERE. What you are trying to do is find keywords that are still searched, but that no one really bids on. Now the reality is you probably won’t find this, but you can always find some keywords you can afford. I will get into money and bids in a second, but I want you to realize that even if you could afford $10 a click, why spend that kind of money when there are other keywords that are a whole lot cheaper. The question you are asking yourself right now is why would anybody pay that price? The main reason these bids are that high, are because people, or companies want to be on the first page of the results for a major keyword. For example: “weight loss”. When your searching for something with a search engine, you normally don’t go past the second page, so these business pay a crap load to make sure they are on the first page or second at least. Now this same rule applies to you for the most part. There is no point in advertising, if you don’t get any visitors.
I am going to offer you another FREE eBook HERE that explains a lot more on keywords and PPC. It is set up around Google advertising (Adwords) and Yahoo Marketing. It is old and so some of the links once again might not work, and it is pushing a product about keywords, but the information is good and can help you. The keyword tool mentioned is also great if you can afford it, but you also have the link to the free Google tool above.
This information will help you understand how to find keywords that are affordable. Just to give an example for those that don’t want the eBook, if your site or the product you are trying to sell is about “weight loss” then you have to find other keywords you can afford, because you know you can’t compete on this keyword. So you search with the Google tool, or the tool in the eBook and find other keywords that don’t have crazy high bids, and that get searches. You test those keywords and eliminate the ones that are too high and keep the ones that give you traffic for a low price. I will explain why in the next paragraph.
No one told me this rule for a long time, or maybe I am just slow and should have figured it out myself before I spent a fortune. See when I found out about PPC, I went crazy and in doing so I spent a lot of money and didn’t sell crap. I don’t want you doing this. So here is the rule! If you are selling a product, service, affiliate product, affiliate service, whatever, YOU MUST FIGURE YOUR CONVERSION AT %1. Yes, you read this right. For every 100 people, you might make 1 sale. If it is higher great, but it could be also lower. No I am no crazy, this is a rule of thumb for PPC. It will depend on a lot of factors like, where you are selling, what you are selling, how much it has already been sold, but this is the rule you will follow until you test the product. So if you are paying $.50 a click and you get 100 visitors you just spent $50 dollars. Since your rule is %1, you better be able to make at least $50 on whatever you are selling or you just lost money! So look at your product or service you are selling, and look at the keyword. If the math doesn’t work out than scrap that keyword.
You might be in a niche where you can’t find a keyword that is profitable. Well, if that is the case then don’t use PPC. The idea is for you to make money and work at home, not lose money. After you are making money with the programs from the main page, or any of the methods we have given you, there might be a time when you want to get your website some exposure. That is fine, as long as you understand that this is throw away money. But don’t think for a second that I am full of it. Don’t think that you are going to be the exception to this rule above. Always figure your PPC this way until it shows you different. IF it doesn’t look profitable with any keyword no matter how hard you search, then set the site with SEO and find one that will be.
People make a lot of money using this type of advertising and this can make you a lot of money. Realize though, that it is very hard to do PPC, unless you are already have money to spend. I have read PPC eBooks that will tell you to spend whatever you have to get the top result even if it is $5.00 a click. That is dumb. If you show up in the top result, a competitor will bid the keyword higher and take a loss, just to put you out of the PPC game. I haven’t read the free eBook I am giving you above in a while. It might have some stuff on bidding, but just follow the %1 formula and that is all until the campaign shows you different. If it starts showing you less than %1 than figure off that and if you can’t be profitable, scrap the campaign or find a higher paying product in the same niche.
That is all I have. I know once again it is confusing and a ton of information, but I hope it helped you. Below I have listed the only Search Engines that I use. I was able to find coupons on Yahoo and Miva, but that is it. If I find more later I will post them in the Free Zone.

Opt-In–Auto-Responder??
What the heck is an opt-in list. An opt-in list is a list of subscribers that you send email to. For example you add a news letter to your website. People who visit your website subscribe to this newsletter to stay updated on the latest things and information. That is one example, another that you see a lot is free information or giveaways. We have all seen it. A landing page with a promise of free items or a free trial and so on. Some people use this as a way to catch your email. They then send a email with permission making sure you want to receive information from that specific website. This email with a verification link, is you opting to receive emails from that website, and makes the website less likely to get reported as spamming.
Some will notice that we don’t have a news letter on this website. We are getting to that, but generally all the information, programs, and sites we think that are valuable are on this site or blog already. We will hopefully soon start a mailing list giving out even more information that helps you make money.
Now back to the mission at hand.
The reason I am telling you about this is this is a very valuable tool. People make millions off just mailing their huge opt-in email list affiliate offers. Granted this doesn’t help 90% of you reading this because you don’t have a huge email list, but the idea here is to create one so it can help you in the future.
I am not a big fan of the sites that have a sales or landing page and try to capture the email there. We do have some good offers on our main page that employ this technique, and sometimes if they are good companies with good products, I don’t mind getting emails every once and a while about products or information. In the past I, like many of you have been taken advantage of with mass emails. Since everyone as dealt with spam, you know this is no fun, and you know this is a road you don’t want to go down with your website.
The information I am trying to get across to you is that if and when you set up your website, at some point and time you should set up a news letter. This allows you to provide your customers and visitors with information and keeps your website in their minds. You can also provide the occasional products or website you might be promoting if you think it will help your audience.
The mistakes I see a lot are people doing are getting a mailing list, then bombarding their mailing list with affiliate offers. Any reputation you had with your website, goes down the drain by doing this. There are people that I thought very highly of that I no longer even read emails because of them doing this. I see no point in working very hard to build a email list to destroy it with this kind of bombardment. The other mistake I see are people getting a mailing list, sending only an email every week or two. Now this is fine, but they still only advertise products in the emails.
You have to build your reputation with people you are mailing. Send them information, tell them about special discounts or new areas of your site. Tell them about other interesting websites that could give them information. Then send the occasional email promoting something that will help them. Don’t send them crap to buy, and make that all you ever send them.
You also need to make the emails relevant to your niche. If your website is about golf, it doesn’t make sense to send them information about cars, or making money. Send them relevant info, products and sites. Make yourself an authority on your niche and be there to help.
Now that was the hard part. The easy part is how you set all of this up. You need an auto responder service for all of this. There are several on the web. Some cost and I have heard of some free ones, but never tried them. As usual, you can search Google for “auto-responders” I personally use this one HERE. It has a great reputation and is used by a large group of people. It is not free, but is not that expensive either.
If you want a different one than the one I mentioned, be careful. Like with any service for 1 good one, there are 20 scams or bad ones. The last thing you want is to build a huge news letter email list and then lose it because you chose a crappie service. Which brings me to another thing. Always back up your mailing list.
Now with the service I use, you can setup different things which you want mailed, the dates, and time when they need to go out. For example: A visitor subscribes to your newsletter. The auto-responder immediately sends an email to verify the email account, welcome the visitor, and make sure they want to opt-in. Then you set up another email to go out the next day after the visitor subscribed giving him some helpful information and giving more detail about your site and its mission. A week after the visitor subscribes, another information email goes out with helpful information, and so on, and so on. You can set all this up in advance. You can set a whole article series you have written to go out at certain times and weeks for your visitors. It is really simple to maintain.
Another tip. If you have a blog with your website and you post a new article, add a snippet to your auto-responder and send it. This allows your subscribers to see that you have a new post and decide if they want to visit your blog. More than likely they will come to the blog and read the whole article. Just remember the important part is not sending advertisements or products every time. If you have a product that you are excited about than go ahead and send it if it is relevant, but don’t send another product the next day. This will make you hated, no matter how good the two products are. In fact if you are too lazy to send anything but products, there really is no point is even trying this method, because you will hurt your website in the long run.
One thing I forgot to mention. You can give free products, to get people to subscribe to your mailing list. You can read my blog post about the digital and eBay products HERE. This article includes a place to get a ton of digital products. You can also find an eBook or something on your own. Just make sure you have the right to give it away. You can also use this method on landing pages. We put 54 landing pages and other helpful things in our Free Zone page. The form used for the subscription or opt-in are found at the auto-responder I gave you or should be found at the one you are going to use.
Remember this is a technique to use along your working at home journey. It will make you money, if you don’t abuse it. This is not something that you need to focus on now if you are a newbie, just something you need to remember to do later. Right now as a newbie, you need to get into some of the programs on the first page and start making money. Then your next step is to get websites of your own up, letting the money your making fund this. Then set up your news letter. I just wanted to throw this in here because I know there are hundreds of make money sites selling this info as a “Big Time Secret That Will Make You Millions!”.

Squidoo Can Make You Bank!
Some of you might be familiar with Squidoo, but most are probably not. It is a website where you can create you own page. So it is a website that allows you to create your own website within the Squidoo website. This is kind of confusing, but it is the same concept as facebook, myspace, twitter, and others, only with a different twist. Most social sites frown on you trying to use their site to make money. They are social sites that want you to create a page for friends and family, not for business. Now some are getting away from this, but they still have all kinds of stipulations on what you can advertise there.
Squidoo is different. It wants you to make money with your page. They have a system set up that allows you to advertise you own stuff, along with some of theirs. Now you get a share of the commission when you advertise their stuff and someone clicks, or buys.
This helps all of you reading this. Why? Because it is free to sign up and create as many pages or lenses “as Squidoo calls them” as you want. This gives you unlimited advertising and money making opportunities. If you read my other post, you already know where to get affiliate products. All you have to do is pick one, go to Squidoo and create a lens, and then write articles about the item your promoting. So if it is weight loss, then find a weight loss product, build a lens, and start researching and writing about weight loss. The more information on your lens the better you will rank. This is not just for people that don’t have a website as you can see from my example. This is important for people that have a website too. This is marketing. Squidoo is a high ranking site that gets lots of traffic. This gives you another face on the web, and some backlinks from an important site to your website. Squidoo lenses show up in search engine rankings just like regular websites. So this means you need to read my article on SEO and try to apply the backlinks information to your Squidoo lens also.
Now I said that Squidoo is a high ranking site and gets traffic. This means that not everybody is there creating lenses. There are a ton of people there reading information and spending money. Squidoo has a ranking system, and the higher your lens ranks the more visitors Squidoo sends to it. They rank in this order: content, visitors, ratings. Obviously your brand new lens won’t get alot of people right away, but they will send some to it if you put good content and a lot of it. When those people visit your lens site, they have the opportunity to rate it. The more 5 star ratings you get, the more they move you up the rankings. How do you get 5 star rankings? By adding quality articles and content relevant to your lens.
People that are ranked in the top 100 on Squidoo get quite a bit of traffic, and yes they make very good money. The kind of money that you can live off of and quite your regular job. Not bad for something free. Now don’t think for a second this is an easy climb. Many people have a head start on you and have a ton of ratings, but with work you can do it. Remember where I said backlinks were important to your lens. Like I said above these lenses get indexed and ranked in Google and other search engines. Like with any website, the more backlinks, the more important the search engines think the page is.
So my final point is even though there are a lot of people ahead of you, if you get backlinks you could end up ranking well in a search engine for your lens and receive traffic that way. If this happens, not only are you going to make sales, and money, but you will get ratings on your lens, which will move you up in Squidoo rankings and get you even more traffic, making you even more money. The possibilities are mind blowing because you can put as many of these lenses up as you want. Just remember to put quality content on each one, for any of this to work. Selling Smart, Not Greedy
Selling products or services is where the real money is on the internet. Now I have given you places to find quality products and services in previous post. These previous post had to do with marketing someone else’s product as an affiliate. Now I want to get into marketing and selling products in general. On the main page of our website there is a section on wholesale dropshippers. This is where you sell a product and have a wholesaler ship the product directly to the customer. This type of money making system has been going on for years, but with eBay it really exploded.
EBay is the industry standard for goods. If your looking to buy a TV at a store, then you go to eBay to see what the average price for the same TV is there. Most sites have to compete with eBay’s low prices and if they don’t stay competitive then they are out of business.
What this does is give you a huge market place to sell goods. The problem is being able to have products that will actually sell and make you money. Many people spend their weeks going to flee markets and garage sales finding those products. The wholesale dropshipper is your resource for goods. This gives you the ability to sell quality items without warehousing them. These products can be put on any website or you can create a website of your own selling these products. Imagine having a website that sells TV’s without ever having to warehouse one TV.
Before we go further let me clue you in on some things. Prices will make or break you. You can not be greedy. You have to stay competitive because I promise that people will check your price against your competitor. Even if you are wholesaling TV’s on your own website, people will check other places before buying from you. If you can’t compete with other people’s prices then try to investigate where they are getting their product from. If you can’t find this out, then move onto another niche, because you won’t make any money unless you are competitive.

This idea is not new either, but most people don’t know where to get digital products to sell. The link above has hundreds of digital products that you can market on eBay or your own site. Some come with a pre-made site and sales letter that you can upload. If they come with this then you have a website and a product.
Now a lot of you are holding your breath thinking that eBay banned the sell of digital items back in March08. You are right, but you have to think outside the box. No you can no longer put a eBook, domains, websites, software, and so, on a regular eBay auction. EBay wants you to put these products on their classifieds section, which will cost you almost $10 the last time I looked. There is no way to make money doing it this way. What you can do is sell the eBooks as regular books. Meaning you print the eBook out and ship it. Or for eBooks and software you can auction the hardcopy book, or software cd you burned for shipment, but include your website where the customer has the option to download it instantly. By using this method, you will probably make even more sales from customers going to your website, per auction and pay less to eBay. The site with the digital products I gave you above, also has many products that are audio or video, where you just copy them to dvd, or cd and ship them after a sale. Make sure you watch your shipping. This can eat you alive. Offer shipping only in the country you live, and tell others that live outside your country to go to your website for instant download. If you don’t have a website, you really need to set one up. I haven’t done this, but I am pretty sure you can set all this up through a Squidoo page. If you are going to sell digital products on eBay, then don’t be greedy also. No one is going to buy an eBook “converted to paper back by you” about golf for $30. If you are going to make money at this, volume is the way to go. If you try to sell an eBook about golf for $30, you might get 1 sale running this eBook in 25 auctions. If you sell the eBook for $3, then you will probably make 5 sales for 5 auctions. Think about the math with just this one eBook. Example: You make 5 auctions for this eBook for one day all at different times. Let’s say you only sell 4 of the 5 and you set the price at $3. That is $12 a day and around $360 a month for one eBook on eBay. Think if you had 5 eBooks and running 5 auctions a day on each book. That is around $1800 a month, minus of course the eBay fees. Like I said though, if you offer them an option to download instant from a website or Squidoo page you set up, your sales could be even higher. You could run 5 auctions a day per book, on 5 eBooks “converted” with option of instant download and end up making 15 sales an auction! Now your eyes are starting to open. Now like I said the site above has hundreds of eBooks in all different niches, not to mention software and graphic products. There is a ton of digital products and the owner updates this site with new stuff all the time. They are all gained legally, the site owner goes around and buys these products. Most of the big hyped up sales letters you read on the internet are people selling these products. Yes I am probably in trouble for letting this secret out, but my goal is for you to make money!

A lot of you might be wondering why I am talking about this on a work at home website blog. Well I want you to succeed with the programs and sites on the main page and I want you to begin putting even more websites up to make even more money. This is why I am addressing all these topics!
I have talked a little about SEO (Search Engine Optimization) before and I wanted to go into detail more. SEO is optimizing your site for search engines. Why is this important? Because this is where you want the majority of your traffic to come from. When you go to Google and search for something, it brings you a list of sites. You go to that site to find information on what you were looking for and this is how search engines work. Your ultimate goal for your website is to be on that first page of the search results. This will give you “organic traffic”, meaning traffic from search engines. This is the best type of traffic, because it is free and targeted.
Getting on the first page of Google, Yahoo, or MSN is no easy task. Search engines make their living by providing their customers with relevant search results. Therefore they don’t let just any website on the first page results because it is bad for business. They must make sure the site is relevant to what the search customer is looking for. This is why ranking in search engines takes time. It is very rare that they put a brand new site, or a crappie site in their first page results. Why would they? It is bad business for them to give bad results to their customers. Now I am sure you can go out and get on the first page of Google for a crazy long keyword that no one searches, but then again why would you. You will see a lot of people trying to sell you bogus software or secrets to supposedly get you on the first page rankings quick. Unless it is a term no one is searching for then it won’t happen. The reason a keyword that no one is searching can rank is because there are no other competing websites, because no one cares for this info. The only things that I have seen popup in top rankings quickly for a quality keyword are things like youtube videos or stuff like that. It is possible to rank on the first page pretty quick if you find a keyword that doesn’t have very many competitors. This is what we call finding quality keywords or quality niches. Quality keywords means finding a search term that people use searching for a product or service, that is untapped. Meaning very little competition. It is getting very hard to find these types of keywords anymore. I will include a file HERE that you can download. It is a spread sheet and has some keywords that have little competition. It also includes the searches per day from the major search engines. Google, Yahoo, and MSN.
Ok back to the topic. How do you get your site to rank well in search engines? Well there are a lot of methods to SEO. I have a eBook HERE that you can download free. I didn’t write it but it is written by a guy who knows a lot about the subject and has a website we will talk about later. It is old and some of the links to software mentioned do not work. The main message still applies though and you have a download to untapped niches above, which in one link in the eBook that I know is no longer.
Since you can read the free eBook and cover the other aspects of SEO, what I am going to focus on is backlinks. A backlink is a link from another website to your website. There are several steps to prove to search engines that your site is worthy for them to list and rank high in their search engine. One of the main steps is having backlinks to your site. If all these other sites are linking to your site than the search engine thinks that your site has value. The more backlinks you have, the more valuable the search engine sees your site. Now there are all kinds of arguments on the type of backlinks your site should have, but if you use this method, your site will do fine. Relevant backlinks are the best. Example: Your site is a weight loss site and another weight loss site links to your weight loss site. The next best are sites with high page rank. Page rank is a little way of Google gauging the importance of your site’s pages. You can find this device on the Google tool bar and the higher the number, the more popular the website. If you can get backlinks from a relevant website that has a high page rank than that is super for your site. This is the general rule, but you want as many backlinks as you can get. If you can get those types of backlinks than it helps your site even more.
What you don’t want are too many backlinks from sites that have been banned by Google. How do you know, well if the site has no page rank than it is either new, or has been banned. It won’t say zero, it will say that this page is not ranked by Google. This means that the website is not even indexed by the search engine. Meaning it will not show up in any results.
Alright this is going to get even more crazy, but stay with me. So we want backlinks. The more backlinks from sites the better we will rank. We don’t want backlinks from sites that are banned by Google. We can tell this by the page rank of the site on the Google tool bar. Now another thing we have to watch is if you get too many backlinks, to quick, you will get banned. Example: Your site had 20 backlinks and a week later you have 5000. All the search engines will know that you joined a link farm or probably did something illegal to get all those links that quick, and more than likely Google will ban you and the others will take away any rank you did have. This brings me to another topic. Link farms are bad. There are three places we will get to that can give you loads of links and do it in a way where you won’t get penalized. Any where else claiming tons of backlinks could get you banned or penalized. There are tons of these farms out there that will charge you big money and claim that you will get top ranking in search engines. Most of the time they will take your money and get your site and domain black listed. Once this happens it is almost impossible to ever recover or to ever be forgiven. So stay away unless I list them here.
I mention Google as a set point for all we are doing here. The main three we want are Google, Yahoo, and MSN, but Google is king. The reason is Google controls around 70%-80% of the searches on the web, meaning they control the majority of the traffic being sent to websites. Now the percentage might have changed, but Google is the king and the standard. Meaning if your site is SEO sound for Google than it will also SEO sound for the rest.
I hope you have an understanding of what backlinks are and why your website needs them. Let’s get into how to get backlinks for your website.
There are a ton of methods for getting backlinks. I will address a few to get you going. An easy way to get some backlinks is to comment on other people’s blogs. Most blogs allow you to leave your website address with your comment. Here is a link to Comment Kahuna. This is a free software that finds relevant blogs for you to post a comment on for backlinks. Now there are new rules with backlinks. Some blogs have a “no follow” tag or so on that tells Google to not count the link as a backlink. There are a lot of arguments on this topic and the other search engines don’t use this rule. I believe all links help, but some experts swear by this new rule. Here is a link to a search engine that finds you blogs that don’t have this tag and the site gives you more info on this topic.
Edu backlinks are from sites that are colleges or educational sites which is what the .edu stands for. Backlinks from these sites are said to be more valuable because they are from education institutions and hard to get.
Here is a link to a free .edu blog finder where you can find .edu blogs, make relevant post, and get those valuable backlinks. You can also put in this query in Google and find .edu blogs.

Please post relevant comments to the blog articles or topics. If you spam them with crap, they won’t post your comment and you won’t get a backlink!
Now to directories. Directories are like mini search engines. They have a directory of sites relevant to search topics. These are great opportunities for backlinks because most are free to add your site. This gives you backlink and can give you traffic because people do use these to find websites for topics they are interested in. HERE is a link to free software that has directories and submits your links to directories.
Articles are a great way to get backlinks. It is easy, you write about a topic relevant to your website, submit it to article sites, you get a backlink to those sites, and you get some traffic from people reading the articles. You can do a search in Google for article sites. For this to be affective you need to submit article to a lot of sites and you need to submit at least an article every week. HERE is a link to software that auto submits your articles to a huge list of article sites. Now it is not free, but its is well worth the money because it is so much quicker than doing it manually. On the first run you will have to register with all the article sites and this takes time, but after that it is automated.
I said above that I would give you links to three places to get massive links that won’t get you penalized by the search engines. Two of the three cost money, and the third you can upgrade for a price to make it easier. They are in order of importance. Meaning if you can afford it do the first on or two. They will help your site big time in the search engine rankings. Even though they give you thousands of backlinks, they do it gradually so you don’t get penalized.
The first is Neurolinker. This site is awesome. For a small price you can get 100 of your websites massive backlinks. They have article submitting too, which puts your articles on others websites and blogs giving you even more backlinks. They have added a new blog backlink area. It puts constant articles on your blog giving it fresh content for the search engines. From there they have added a social bookmarking part, which gets you social bookmark backlinks. The person who operates this site is the one who wrote the SEO eBook I mentioned above. You really need to budget for this site, because this will help your SEO Big Time.
Next is LinksMaster. This site is also great because you get thousands of backlinks added over time. It has an area for articles also. With this one you can only add 5 sites, I think for the same price as Neurolinker. You can add more, but it will cost you more.
I said above about not wanting to link to anyone who has been banned from Google. Now with blogs, it is rare that they get banned, but if the content is questionable or they are doing illegal stuff than it can happen. I don’t think you get penalized at all for having comments with a link. So what I am saying is, you don’t really need to watch your blog linking campaign. Now for the rest of your backlinking it is necessary and really is hard to keep up with who you are linking to and who is linking to you. These two sites above do this task for you and that makes your life a whole lot easier.
The third backlink place is HERE. You can sign up free, but the free membership is manual link exchanging. Meaning you have to ask another member to exchange links and if that member agrees, you have to copy and paste link code to your website. They do have an upgrade that says it is automated, but I have never used it. This is what I used to get started and what anyone who can’t afford the two above can use. It is long tedious work, but you can build backlinks over time and if your broke it is better than nothing.
There is some software I want to mention. This software HERE is for SEO and will help make your efforts a whole lot easier. It can tell you where you rank for given keywords, it has the ability to find websites like yours and get backlinks by the software sending a request, it has the ability to spy on websites similar to yours that are ranking well by analyzing their SEO and telling you who they have backlinks to, it can tell you how many backlinks each search engine is saying you have, it can tell you how many of your website’s pages are indexed, it can verify that if you are trading links with another website, they still have your link on their site, and so on. Yes it is a monster for SEO and does what SEO firms charge thousands of dollars to do. I think it runs about $47 a month last time I checked. Point is if you have the money, get it because it will help. If you don’t have the money, than plan to budget it for the future.
Ok that about does it. In the free eBook I gave you, there are some links. One that I know doesn’t work anymore was to “niche inspector” or something like that. All this was is a tool that looks for niches or keyword search terms that don’t have that much competition. I have put a free list above and HERE that you can download to give you niches untapped. It also gives you and idea of what to look for. If what you want is not there, than take the idea and go to the Google keyword tool and find your own. Look for terms that get over 100,000 searches and then go to Google and type in that search term. Your looking to see how many results pop up. Obviously if it is 94 million than that has a lot of websites competing for that word or phrase and you don’t want to try your luck. I would say around 5 million or less would be something you could compete with. But it is up to you. You can try to fight your way with the big boys, but it will take time and a lot of back linking.
The free download stuff will be zipped. Directly below are some programs you can download to unzip these files. They should be free. If they have changed then go to Google and search unzip and you should be able to find a free program.

Domains names are the key!
To have a website you need to have a domain. It is your address on the web. For example: (www.worksathome.org). This address is where you will be setting up a website. The actual name of the domain has everything to do with your website’s success. You want your domain to match your keyword very closely. A keyword is a target word defining your website. Meaning, if your website is about weight loss, then keywords that would apply would be “weight loss, diet, dieting, diets lose weight” and so on.You want your domain to match one of these as close as you can get, but first you need to figure out what your main keyword is going to be. This is where research comes in handy. This keyword you choose will be the focal point of all your marketing efforts.
Let’s give some examples. You are planning a website about “acne”. You are going to market an acne product as an affiliate from one of the sites I told you about in previous post. Now how do you choose your main keyword. Well you do research and find out how many searches are being ran on certain phrases. You need to realize when your targeting a highly competitive area or niche (as we call it) you don’t want to make your main keyword acne. Why? Because you will not be able to complete with the big dogs right now. In the future when you have tons of money you can try, but for now let’s try something like acne free skin. Now it does you no good to put (acne free skin) as your main keyword if no one is using this search term.
Here is a link to a Google tool that will tell you how many times a certain word or phrase is searched in Google search engines. This can tell you if the keyword is going to have a ton of competitors, or if anybody is searching with the word or phrase at all. The whole idea behind this is future website traffic. This domain name, and main keyword is what you want to be listed for in search engines. Meaning when someone searches “acne free skin” you want your site to show up at the top of the listings, so you can get traffic, so you can make sales. Are you still with me?
So you are going to market an acne product. You have decided on “acne free skin” as your main keyword search phrase, because it gets enough searches to be profitable, but not enough to make it impossible to rank on the first page of the major search engines. Now you have to find a domain name left that is a close match to your main keyword.
Let’s back up a second. You are asking right now what number of searches makes a keyword, or keyword phrase just right. Well that depends on you. For me if it has over 100,000, but under a million than I call it good. This free keyword tool by Google varies. You could have a month where your term was popular, or the phrase could be backwards. Meaning: I once targeted a keyword phrase “weight loss diet”, and it showed over 100,000 searches. I never took into account that it was “diet weight loss” that had the searches. You see when you get into phrases Google’s tool just combines the combination of them. So watch out for this. In the phrase “acne free skin” it is obviously where most of the searches are coming from. They are not probably coming from “free skin acne”. Now ‘acne free skin” is just an example, and really doesn’t get that many searches. If you click the link and run it you will see. Also if you just want to see the results of what you typed in: Uncheck (Use synonyms), and Click On Filter My Results And Check (Don’t show ideas for new keywords…) Remember you can enter the word acne, (or whatever you are going to use) and it will list a ton of results giving you a ton of keyword ideas.
Alright, now you need a domain. You want a domain that matches your keyword as close as it can. It will be hard, because most of the good domains are gone. This will require research on your part. Try to go in this order .com, .net, .org, .info, others. Meaning try to match your keyword closest you can to the domain, and if all possible try to get a .com. If this is not possible then go in the order I gave you. If you can match your keyword in a .net exact, but you have a .com that is close, then go with the .net. But if you have a .ws that matches your keyword exact, and a .com that is very close, then go with the .com.
This is just my way of doing it. Everyone has different methods, but it seems to help your SEO (Search Engine Optimization) better. Meaning, having your domain the same or close to your main keyword, gets you better search engine rankings. This is one step in many in SEO, and SEO is optimizing your website for search engines. You will here a lot about SEO when dealing with your website and we will touch more on it here in the future.
Now where do you find and buy your domain? There are a ton of places to buy domains and hosting. Remember domains are your address example: www.worksathome.org, and hosting is a server that displays your website online. After a while you can form opinions and maybe get into Class C Hosting, but for a newbie GoDaddy is the best. I recommend that you buy all your domains there and since your domains are there you might as well get their hosting. It is as cheap as most quality sites. Now I put some more hosting links at the bottom of this page which are also good. Some offer domains and some even offer a free domain with hosting. This might work for your budget. I personally have all my domains at GoDaddy. WARNING! There are cheaper sites out there for hosting and even some for domains, but BE CAREFUL. You can get scammed, run into domain transfer problems and so on. It is like the saying goes, you get what you pay for.
Now you can search domains on GoDaddy and try to find one that will work for your keyword. Another trick I use is a site called JustDropped.com. This site has domains that have expired and have just been released back to the public. It is free to register and I have found quality domains there. There are other places to buy domains for sell including a big market on Godaddy. You can find quality domains, but it will cost a lot. I normally use JustDropped.com or Godaddy and build off that.
Since most of the good domains are gone you will have to get a little creative. Using dashes is a good way to get a domain with the keyword you want. For example “acne-free-skin.net” This will work fine and is not looked down upon by the search engines. You can also use numbers for example: “acnefreeskin44.com” or use an extra word like “acnefreeskintoday.com”. Just make sure your keyword or keyword phrase is in the domain. I would try to avoid using numbers unless there were no other options.

Surveys? Why?
I mentioned on the main page that surveys have a bad reputation and so on. If you read the main page you know why they have a bad reputation and I have listed the best survey sites I have found. So with that said what is this all about?
You are looking for a way to make money online. You might have had some success, or you might be a newbie. Either way most people’s goal is to make a fortune and do away with your regular job. Well, let’s get one thing straight first. Working online is WORK. Yes you might try one of my programs and make huge money overnight, but for the most part you will have to work at it. That is why I stress entering into multiple programs, but do not do more than you can handle. This will be a completely new area for most of you with a ton of info. It will take effort for you to learn tons of ways to make money online.
With that said I wrote this to explain how I got started and a road for you. Survey sites will make you extra income, but you will have to work. What I want you to achieve is financial independence, but I don’t want you going broke trying to accomplish this. For those who are on a tight budget surveys are the way to go. The reason is you have to keep food on the table for you and your family and that is your priority!

Take the offers, and spend time reading. Most offers are trials that you can return without being charged. Yes it is a hassle. They make it a hassle because this is how they make money, but if they are going to pay you 50 bucks to take an offer that you can return, then that is 50 bucks in your pocket, or towards your new online business ventures for a little hassle.
Will survey sites make you rich. Well it depends on the effort, but if you are talking about just taking surveys than no. This will make you extra income, which you might need to pay bills, or you can use to start other programs, or both. Let’s look again at my ranked #1 survey site. It has an affiliate program. Meaning, you can refer people to this site and earn 20% of what they make off of taking surveys. You can also make 10% off of the people your referrals refer. Is this a pyramid scheme? NO! This is a simple affiliate program, that allows you to make big money.
So I have given you a site that is free to sign up and make money taking surveys and doing promotions. You will also make money for referrals, and their referrals. Let’s do the math on the potential. Let’s say you get 100 referrals by advertising on your blog, or in your local classifieds. Your 100 refer 10 a piece giving you 1000 second level referrals. Your hundred make about 5 bucks a month, per referral, which makes you $100.00. Your 1000 second round referrals make $5 per referral, making you $500.00. That is $600 a month not counting what your making off of taking surveys and promotions. Not to mention that the % of what you make goes up when you refer more people. $5 a refer is also pretty low. People can make much more than that by doing the surveys and promotions. This site also gives bonuses to you for money your referrals make that I did not figure in. This site also has contest with money prizes that I did not figure in.
The point is you have to be positive and think outside the box. This site I am handing you alone can make you enough money to quit your job and be financially independent. You will have to work though. I know no one likes doing work, but trust me it is a whole lot better waking up and going to your computer, than going to a regular job. Maybe your not good at selling door to door, but no one is asking you to. Think what brought you here. People are looking for a way to make extra money. This site sells itself. All you have to do is think outside the box. Like I said before, classified ads, start a blog, so on. Get creative, because this is going to be your job. You probably don’t like doing have the stuff you normally do at your regular job, but you do it because you need the money. This is the same principle, but a whole lot easier.

Affiliate marketing is something that can make you a ton of money. Here is my basic definition. You partner with other people or companies and sell their products or services. You get paid a commission for doing this. Why is this great? Well if your trying to make money online than you need to sell a product or service, and that is where affiliate marketing comes in. Affiliate marketing is not a myth, it is the way most people make money online.
Why would companies need you? It is really simple. More sales! If a company is selling a product on their website than they need traffic to their website to make sales. They can have the greatest product on earth, but if no one knows about it then they won’t be able to sell it. This is where the affiliate marketer comes in. If they advertise the website, they will make money and drive traffic to their site. If they advertise and recruit affiliates to also market their product or service they will drive a lot more traffic and make a lot more sales. It is a win, win situation for all parties. Yes they don’t make as much money on the sales, but they make a lot more sales, which is more profitable for them.
For someone trying to make money online this is awesome. You now have a product or service to sell. No writing a book, no inventing, and so on. You have a product or service that you can market just like it was your own. Now granted, it could be more profitable for you to have your own product or service, but if your like me who can’t write and can’t invent, this gives you the opportunity to make money online.
There are many ways to market affiliate products, or services. If you have a blog than you can find a product or service that fits your niche. Some people build whole websites around affiliate products. Some people have opt-in email list that they can mail affiliate offers to. The ideas are endless on making money with someone else’s products or services.
The question I am asked a lot is where do I find affiliate products or services, and which are the best. Most of the time you can scroll to the bottom of a website that is selling a product or service and find their affiliate link, if there is one. Some websites place the affiliate link at the top to make sure it catches your eye. Another idea, which is the way most people go, is to find a affiliate broker. Places like this specialize in finding affiliate offers and recruiting affiliates to market them. I will put some links at the bottom of this post to some of the more popular affiliate brokers. The question of which affiliate products or services are the best really depends on you. Some affiliate offers are better than others. Meaning that some pay more commission than others, some are better products or services, and so on.
You have to feel out which will work for your situation. Put yourself in the buyer’s shoes. Would I buy this product or service? It does you no good to market a product on your blog that has a 50% commission if the product is crap. If your new to all this, then research about affiliate marketing. There are a lot of tricks to it, but the main things are, find a product or service that will sell, that has a good commission, and that fits your niche. Meaning if your blog is about weight loss, you wouldn’t want to try to sell “marketing software“. Like I said the opportunities are endless. If you find a product or service that is great, but doesn’t fit your niche, then create a website around the product or service. Always think outside the box.
This is an amazing opportunity for you to make money online. Understand that you just solved one of the major problems in business, which is having a product or service to sell!
